Dr. Patrick Parks, O.D. has been dedicated to eye care since his youth, which led him to pursue a distinguished career in optometry. He began his academic journey with studies in biology and pre-medical sciences at the University of Georgia from 1991 to 1995. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Vision Science in 1997 and a Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. Dr. Parks was recognized for his academic excellence, becoming a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and receiving the prestigious Marchon Practice Management Award.
Before becoming a trusted optometrist, Dr. Parks gained practical experience as an ophthalmic lab technician and optician, mastering everything from lens fabrication to optical dispensing and equipment maintenance. His expertise was acknowledged by Essilor, a leading lens manufacturer, with a performance award. Clinically, Dr. Parks brings extensive knowledge in advanced glaucoma therapy, LASIK co-management, and ocular disease treatment, along with a specialization in complex contact lens fittings.
